Product Description

From 1 July 2025, significant changes were made to the Code of Ethics including requirements and application material relevant to providing tax planning services.

Many accountants undertaking tax compliance services might think they are not involved in providing tax planning services, but the definition is broad and includes any planning or structuring of the client's affairs in a tax-efficient manner.

In this special half-hour webinar, the rules will be reviewed, and the implications of the rules will be considered.

Upon satisfactory completion of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • explain the main features of the Ethics requirements for tax planning services
  • assess the impact of the requirements on your work situation
  • meet half an hour of the CPD training required by CAANZ/NZICA

This course will be suited to:

  • all members of CAANZ and/or NZICA involved in providing taxation services to their employer or clients

 Duration: 0.5 CPD hours (approx. 25 mins content + 5 mins Q&A)
