Product Description

This webinar will take an in-depth look at the new GST rules as they apply to unincorporated bodies — such as partnerships and joint ventures — as introduced in the Taxation (Annual Rates for 2025-26, Compliance Simplification, Remedial Matters) Act.

While designed against the backdrop of issues encountered with bloodstock syndicates, the rules have wider application and are relevant also to other joint ventures and partnerships and thus it will be beneficial to understand how the rules work.

Upon satisfactory completion of this activity, you will be able to:

  • explain the current GST rules for unincorporated bodies; and
  • articulate key aspects of the new GST rules for unincorporated bodies.

Duration: 1.00 CPD hours (includes brief Q&A)

This course will be suited to:

  • accountants with clients who operate joint ventures
  • accountants with clients that are bloodstock syndicates
  • tax aware intermediate level accountants
  • those who have an interest in the primary sector or who want to understand how the full suite of entities is tax for GST purposes
