The purpose of this webinar is to review some of the obligations and responsibilities imposed by the Income Tax legislation and IR on payments made to employees. It will cover the way in which the legislation taxes a variety of payments to employees.

Specifically the webinar will consider:                                  
• Who is an employee?                                 
• Salaries & wages, bonuses, extra pay                             
• Other payments to employees including, payments for golden handshakes, golden parachutes, restraint of trade & hurt, humiliation or loss of dignity                                     

There will be an introduction to allowances and reimbursements and the entertainment rules. The taxation of non-cash benefits can be confusing. The Webinar will introduce the FBT regime.
